According to Carlo’s Facebook post that he put up on the same day, Daniel apparently sufferes from kidney complications. He has already underwent surgery, but still has to take his medications to keep himself from getting sick again.
Given his seemingly poor lifestyle, the child thought of using his incredible singing talent to raise money for himself. In the end, the mother and son understood why Daniel chose the song, “‘Wag Ka Nang Umiyak“.
Moved by the kid’s unfortunate story, Carlo took it upon himself to appeal to the public for help.
“kaya sana if mkita nyo sya sa SM Sta Rosa mang inasal sana po pansinin nyo sya at maabutan kahit papano…godbless guys”
In a separate post, Carlo announced that he and his mom would help “the little boy with the golden voice” by pitching in, as well as accept other donations from willing netizens.
“Please sana bukal po sa loob nyo ang pagtulong at sana wag nyo kami pagiisipan n may interest kami personal sa anu mang tulong n ibibigay nyo….we will make sure po n makakarating kay [REDACTED] ang inyong tulong…”
Meanwhile, thousands of netizens could only offer their prayers and best wishes for the young boy.
