A Police Officer , Who Fired A Gunshot , Ended Up Were Flogged By Five Men

A Policemen play an integral part in ensuring the safety of the public and enforcing the law. However, in this exclusive footage captured by GMA News, a police man was assaulted by five men in the Peñafrancia Street, Paco, Manila at around 1 AM in the morning. According to the report, it was the policeman who started the violent confrontation.
As seen on the exclusive video, GMA News caught red-handed a brutal fight between a police officer and five men. As soon as the video recording started, one of the five men shouted “tinutukan kami ng baril!”

The violent confrontation went on for several minutes until the policeman was bleeding. After the situation stopped temporarily, the blood-stained policeman introduced himself as PO1 Christopher Pizzaro. However, the policeman was attacked again by another man and shouted “porket pulis ka, mamamaril ka!” at him.

The five men later surrendered to the nearest police station at around 3 AM to explain what really happened. In their defense, they said that the policeman provoked them to attack him when he pointed his gun at them.
“Umi-stop siya sa gitna ng kalsada. Ginitna niya ‘yung motor niya!”
“Parang hinahamon ako ng malaki niyong kasama, ah! Tapos dumiretso na hanggang sa Paco. nagkaroon kami ng konting gitgitan.”
Just when they thought that it was just a stunt to scare them off, the policeman fired a gunshot to Kurt Miranda.
“Teka lang, parang nakakaloko ka, eh! Bumunot (siya) ng baril tapos pinutukan po ako sa paa. Tapos bigla ko na siya niyakap at itunumba ko na siya sa gutter.”
During the violent confrontation, Dennis Miranda, a relative, quickly hopped in to help his nephews in attacking the policeman.
“Hindi ko na alam gagawin kasi mga pamangkin ko iyan, eh. Hindi ko na alam kung anong nangyayari, eh!”
However, Pandacan Police Senior Inspector Edwin Guggan said they will still press charges on the five men.
“Kapag mayroon naman mga ganoong pulis, pwede naman sila magreklamo, eh. Malapit naman doon ang community precint ng station 5. Dapa doon sila pumunta.”
