Now, Coco didn’t start out as a big shot in the entertainment industry. Unlike other celebs, the Kapamilya actor had a rough time getting big roles in the showbiz world. In fact, he started out in plenty of indie films and had minor roles in mainstream films.
Finally, in 2010, he was given his first big break in the ABS-CBN primetime show, “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo.” Since then, he kept on soaring in his career and has been hailed as one of the most successful actors of our time.
Coco is now enjoying the fruit of his labor as he has finally been able to construct his own home. The actor’s 2,000-square-meter house is located in Quezon City, according to an article published by the Philippine Entertainment Portal.
Because Coco is one of the biggest earners in showbiz, his house is understandably magnificent and grand.
In an interview with YES! Magazine, the action star said:
“Ang tagal ginawa ’yong bahay, kasi ipon, ipon, ipon. Kasi dahan-dahan lang, ayoko kasing biglain. Natakot naman akong mangutang sa bangko, kasi alam mo naman ’yong work natin— minsan okey ’tapos biglang mawawala. Sabi ko, pag ni-loan ko ’to, baka hatakin sa ’kin. ’Yon ’yong pinakamasakit na mangyayari sa buhay ko.”
